About the Author: Dennis McHale

Hi, I’m Dennis.  Several years ago my now ex-wife and I decided to purchase an Airstream and travel across this great country of ours.  For the next two years, we  visited almost every state in the United States, and more importantly, its people. It seemed the right time, as well, for me to continue my writing and work on editing a compilation of my poetry that I had been putting off.  I wanted to share my writing for decades, yet had never allowed myself the time to complete the project.

I am pleased to say the journey was fruitful and I finally published “The Winter Bites My Bones.”  My book is currently available in hardcover and Kindle edition on Amazon.com.

This blog is, by the same name, incomplete. It will always be growing and evolving, and you, dear reader, will contribute greatly to its evolution.  Join me on this journey as I continue to write and compile my musings.  But above all, enjoy!

WordPress allows me access to a wider audience than does print. It also affords me the opportunity to get critical feedback before I submit for publication.  Your feedback truly helps. While the blog is not focused solely on poems, it does deliver over 30 years of my poetry writing. Feel free to tear them apart and let me know what you think.

I can’t promise I’ll always be technically ahead of everything it takes to make a blog successful, but this much I promise.  I will share with you and invite you to do the same, and do so without editing or censorship.

Enjoy this blog as it grows. I have no expectations, but if you do, feel free to share ideas with me at dennis.l.mchale@gmail.com.

I am looking forward to your responses and insights.

Best regards,

Dennis

Amazing poetry. Loved everything I’ve read. Absolutely wonderful journey that you’ve had a chance to experience together.
